"Nothing is worth wanting or doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty... I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well." Theodore Roosevelt

Greener pastures...
Thea and I took a leap and rode in the fields out behind the race track! I had a friend there to keep an eye on us in case of trouble (and take pictures). She was so good, I'm proud of her :) We walked and trotted mostly and did a little canter up the hill. It was fun! Here are the resulting pictures... the grass looks so green!
My passion is horses, and I have been involved with them since I was 8 years old. I've dabbled in various disciplines over the years from dressage, horse trials, hunters, english pleasure, western pelasure, gymkhana, showmanship, etc. I've become more interested in the American Quarter Horse breed shows, and would love to show all-round some day.
My other intrests are companion animals (any!), photography, and my newly aquired running habit. I'm currently in 1st year vet school at the Atlantic Veterinary College!
