20 Days To Go!

Less than three weeks now! I'm getting very anxious to move. I'd like to start packing but I can't because I need to use most of my stuff! I'll have to start carting home boxes from work. So if you see a girl walking down University or Queen with boxes... thats me!

My MacBook is on its way with FedEx from somewhere in the states. Should reach NB by Tuesday :) I'm going to have fun playing with my new gadgets... my iPod is already in NB. I guess they ship things as they become available. I've also ordered their newly released wireless "mighty mouse" with bluetooth technology so I don't have to waste one of my USB ports :) It has 360 degree scroll ball, right and left buttons disguised under a sleek non-moveable part design, as well as two programable side buttons. Hehe. And of course it will match all my other stuff.

I just got back from volunteering at the humane society. Due to a lack of money and the impending two rents looming I couldn't take a cab. I was going to bike there this morning. I got my bike out from the basement last night and put air in the tires to be all set for the morning. As I was leaving and about to swing my leg over I checked the brakes... Oops. The back brakes did not work, and the wire seemed to have been pulled in an awkward position. So I had to walk. Which wasn't that bad, other than I was about a half hour late. It took about 45 minutes to walk there, and another 45 minutes back home. I got my exercise for the day LOL I had been thinking about a little jog but I doubt I'll have to motivation for it. Besides I've been so busy with work the past couple weeks (54 hours and 53 hours)I'm sure I've lost what little progress I've made in fitness.

I heard that my parents might consider coming up for a visit next weekend. Which would be very nice... not to mention they could bring all my gadgets ;) Hehe. I have Saturday off (how'd that happen?) and only volunteer in the morning on Sunday. I'm hoping they will make the trip. It would be nice to see some familiar faces! I'm sick of living with this so-called roomate we like to call Skid.
